Completion of the Differentiated Instruction for Alternative Learning (DIAL) program leads to an Alternative Education License (WI Code 952), which allows a person who holds a Wisconsin teaching license to teach in alternative education programs in grades 6–12 in the State of Wisconsin. Individuals with an initial Wisconsin teaching license who do not wish to complete a master’s degree may seek the Alternative Education License only.
